Retail Inventory Planner
Our client is seeking a Retail Inventory Planner who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and brings a strong analytical mindset to managing inventory flow across store locations. This role is ideal for someone who can translate data into clear recommendations, collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, and ensure product availability while supporting revenue and inventory goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining operational continuity.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Retail Inventory Planner Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal, monthly, and weekly inventory allocation plans to support revenue, margin, and inventory targets.
- Monitor store-level performance and adjust allocations to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize lost sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, planning, and marketplace operations to align inventory strategies with business priorities.
- Manage product load-in, replenishment, and distribution at the style, color, and size level across store locations.
- Support operational initiatives such as new store openings and in-season adjustments to maximize product availability and performance.
Retail Inventory Planner Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with retail inventory allocation or merchandise planning in a store-level environment.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with retail planning or allocation systems such as SAP, JDA/Just Enough, ToolsGroup, o9, or similar platforms.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional business partners.
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant retail planning, allocation, or inventory management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: Up to $35.21/hr. (DOE)
