Manager Care Management RN
Our client is seeking a clinically strong and operationally minded registered nurse to support and coordinate care management functions within a dynamic acute care environment. This role is ideal for a professional who combines deep case management expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate brings a patient-centered mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and efficient care delivery.

This role is onsite in Everett, Washington.

Manager Care Management RN Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily coordination of care management activities, including care coordination, utilization review, discharge planning, and pre-admission workflows.
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, social services, and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate, timely, and patient-focused care transitions.
• Support departmental operations by promoting best practices, clinical standards, and regulatory compliance across care management processes.
• Serve as a key liaison between patients, families, clinical teams, and community resources to remove barriers and facilitate continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and financial stewardship efforts by aligning care decisions with organizational and payer requirements.

Manager Care Management RN Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in case management, care management, or a closely related clinical function.
• Demonstrated experience navigating complex clinical scenarios, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient advocacy.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills within fast-paced healthcare settings.

Preferred:

• Professional certification such as Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM).
• Prior experience in care management or case management within an acute care hospital setting.
• Exposure to staff mentorship, workflow coordination, or informal leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supporting education, training, or knowledge-sharing across clinical teams.

Salary: $141K-$223K/year. (DOE)
