Solutions Architect
Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect who combines strong technical depth with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. This role is ideal for a professional who can confidently translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions while partnering closely with clients and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
This role is fully remote.
Solutions Architect Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery and solution design efforts across varied technical and business scenarios.
- Translate complex technical concepts, system behaviors, and data structures into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
- Design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance solutions within SQL Server environments.
- Analyze and interpret data requirements derived from client interactions, structured documentation, and project materials.
- Evaluate datasets and workflows to define efficient, project-specific data processing strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Assist with the development, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced T-SQL code.
- Assess data quality and sufficiency, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Manage and prioritize work across multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining delivery commitments.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly to clients and internal partners.
Solutions Architect Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading or contributing to the design and delivery of technical solutions.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL Server and/or other relational database platforms.
- Advanced expertise in T-SQL development, query design, and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and client audiences.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles requiring clear, confident communication.
- Strong initiative and ownership mentality, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing priorities in fast-moving environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
Compensation: $60-$70/hr. (DOE)
