Senior QA Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to play a critical role in validating and strengthening a next-generation Generative AI platform. This position partners closely with cross-functional technology and business teams to ensure reliability, performance, and responsible AI behavior across a modern application stack. The ideal candidate is naturally inquisitive, highly detail-oriented, and energized by solving complex quality challenges in evolving environments.
This role is fully remote. PST working hours are required.
Senior QA Engineer Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and continuously refine test strategies for a Generative AI-driven application spanning frontend, backend, and data platforms.
- Validate functional behavior, data integrity, model interactions, and overall system performance across React, Node.js, and Databricks-based components.
- Identify, document, and collaborate on defect resolution, ensuring quality issues are clearly communicated and prioritized.
- Partner with engineering, analytics, and program stakeholders to improve application stability, safety, and user experience.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks while leveraging modern productivity and AI-assisted tooling.
Senior QA Engineer Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of directly relevant quality engineering or software testing experience.
- Experience testing applications built with React, Node.js, and data-centric platforms such as Databricks.
- Strong understanding of test automation concepts, frameworks, and quality best practices.
- Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows quickly with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Compensation: Up to $65.33/hr. (DOE)
