Epic Beaker AP Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Beaker AP Project Manager to support a complex laboratory systems deployment with a strong focus on implementation leadership, stakeholder coordination, and clinical workflow alignment. This individual will play a critical role in guiding anatomic pathology initiatives, ensuring operational continuity, and driving structured project execution within a regulated healthcare environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts. Applicants located on the East Coast are preferred and will be required to work onsite around once a month.

Epic Beaker AP Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Epic Beaker AP implementation activities, ensuring alignment with laboratory operations, pathology workflows, and clinical system dependencies.
• Facilitate project governance, including status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with laboratory, pathology, and technical teams to evaluate existing workflows, identify gaps, and support process optimization related to specimen handling and resulting.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies across technical, operational, and vendor workstreams.
• Support system readiness efforts, including testing coordination, environment validation, and deployment planning.
• Collaborate with third-party partners and internal technical teams to manage interfaces, data flows, and system integration requirements.

Epic Beaker AP Project Manager Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing Epic Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) within a clinical or laboratory environment.
• PMP certification required.
• Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare or clinical systems projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Practical understanding of anatomic pathology or laboratory workflows; prior lab or pathology bench experience is highly valued.
• Strong project execution skills, including schedule management, dependency tracking, and structured problem resolution.
• Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven healthcare settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational audiences.
• Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
