Data Analytics Lead
Our client is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to play a hands-on leadership role in advancing enterprise analytics capabilities across business systems and reporting platforms. This individual will own data modeling and analytics strategy while partnering closely with program management and application teams to support scalable, modern data solutions as the organization continues its transition toward a Microsoft-centric analytics ecosystem.
This role can be fully remote. Applicants who can work a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon are preferred.
Data Analytics Lead Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data models and semantic layers to support reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
- Own and evolve analytics solutions built in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including data modeling, performance tuning, and governance best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to integrate data from core platforms, including CRM and marketing systems, into centralized analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with program management and shared services teams to align analytics initiatives with broader project roadmaps and business priorities.
- Support the organization’s transition from external consulting resources to internal ownership of analytics and data engineering capabilities.
- Contribute to data warehousing strategy and ensure consistency across layered data architectures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship related to analytics tools, modeling standards, and reporting best practices.
Data Analytics Lead Qualifications
- Proven experience leading data analytics or business intelligence initiatives in an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including semantic modeling and reporting optimization.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing, or similar enterprise systems.
- Solid background in data warehousing concepts and layered data architectures.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) environments.
- Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks or medallion-style architectures is strongly preferred.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project management and application development groups.
- AI or advanced analytics experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation: $60-$85/hr. (DOE)
