Senior Channel Merchant (Footwear)
Our client is seeking a consumer-focused Senior Channel Merchant who blends analytical rigor with intuitive product storytelling to shape kids’ footwear assortments across North America. This individual thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, partners seamlessly across sales and merchandising teams, and confidently translates trend, marketplace, and consumer insights into compelling channel strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong presence, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset to influence outcomes at scale.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Channel Merchant (Footwear) Responsibilities

• Develop consumer-led, channel-specific assortment strategies for kids’ footwear across North America.
• Translate trend, sales, and marketplace insights into actionable seasonal and multi-season plans.
• Partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to support sell-in, planning, and execution.
• Lead seasonal workflows while managing multiple timelines, priorities, and capacity considerations.
• Deliver clear, compelling presentations and tools that align stakeholders and drive confident decisions.

Senior Channel Merchant (Footwear) Qualifications

• Proven experience in footwear merchandising, with strong understanding of retail and channel dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze consumer trends and convert insights into commercial strategies.
• Confident presenter with experience influencing large, senior, or cross-functional audiences.
• Strong understanding of sales, inventory, and performance metrics in a retail environment.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, evolving, and ambiguous roles.

Compensation: Up to $41.33/hr. (DOE)
