Trade Finance Specialist
Our client is seeking a seasoned Trade Finance Specialist who brings strong judgment, precision, and partnership to complex international banking operations. This individual will be trusted to balance risk management, regulatory compliance, and client service while serving as a technical resource across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, collaborative, and confident navigating high-stakes trade finance activity in a fast-paced environment.

This role is onsite in San Francisco, California.

Trade Finance Specialist Responsibilities

• Process and support a broad range of international trade finance transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to internal teams and external customers.
• Ensure compliance, quality control, and effective risk and liability management across all activities.
• Review, validate, and authorize trade documentation in alignment with approved credit terms and regulations.
• Manage workflow priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service and operational integrity.

Trade Finance Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in international banking or trade finance.
• Seven to ten years of progressive experience in international banking operations or trade services.
• Strong analytical, relationship-management, and credit risk assessment capabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple trade finance products and documentation processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate, advise, and train diverse stakeholders.

Compensation: $32-$40/hr. (DOE)
