Senior Technical Product Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own and evolve a core technology platform with a strong focus on enterprise integrations and customer-specific solutions. This individual will operate as a senior-level, long-term contributor with deep technical fluency, close alignment to engineering, and regular interaction with enterprise customers. This role does not include people management and is intended for someone who prefers hands-on product ownership rather than a leadership track.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must work Central Time Zone hours.
Senior Technical Product Manager Responsibilities
- Own and drive the roadmap for core platform capabilities, including APIs, standardized integrations, and customer-specific integration solutions.
- Partner closely with internal and external engineering teams to design, deliver, and refine scalable integration architectures across complex enterprise environments.
- Act as the primary product point of contact for customer-driven integrations, working directly with enterprise clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, integration planning discussions, and product demonstrations with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate deeply with engineering to influence technical direction, challenge unnecessary complexity, and guide teams toward practical, maintainable solutions.
- Ensure seamless product integration with customer IT infrastructure and internal enterprise systems, supporting both implementation and long-term platform stability.
- Balance near-term customer needs with long-term platform strategy, ensuring integrations remain extensible and aligned with broader product goals.
Senior Technical Product Manager Qualifications
- Extensive experience in technical product management, with at least 4–7 years working directly in technology-focused product roles.
- Strong background in B2B SaaS environments, particularly supporting enterprise customers and customer-driven integrations.
- Deep understanding of APIs, system integrations, and enterprise software architectures, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Proven ability to navigate complex technical organizations and influence engineering decisions without direct authority.
- Comfort engaging directly with customers in technical discussions, including discovery, solution design, and integration execution.
- Ability to assess tradeoffs, push back on over-engineering, and advocate for scalable, pragmatic technical solutions.
- Prior experience as a software engineer or in a highly technical role is strongly beneficial, though hands-on coding is not required.
