.NET Developer
Our client is seeking a mid-level .NET Developer to join a growing development team focused on building and supporting data-driven, enterprise-grade applications. This role will contribute to backend and service-layer development, working closely with engineers and business partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in .NET development, database-driven systems, and cloud-based services, and is comfortable operating in a collaborative but self-directed environment.
This role is fully remote to applicants located in the Portland metro area with occasional onsite meetings.
.NET Developer Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend application components using .NET and C#, with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code.
- Build and optimize SQL Server databases, including queries, stored procedures, and data models that support application and integration needs.
- Develop and support RESTful Web APIs to enable reliable communication between internal systems and external platforms.
- Contribute to cloud-based development efforts in Azure, supporting application deployment, configuration, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues, implementing long-term improvements where appropriate.
.NET Developer Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional experience in .NET development or a closely related software engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience building and consuming Web APIs in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of Azure and cloud-based application architectures.
- Background supporting data-intensive or integration-heavy applications.
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical partners.
Salary: $90-$110K/year. (DOE)
