Project Manager
Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact initiatives and oversee multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through close-out. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, aligning project outcomes with business strategy, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed-upon requirements. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who applies formal project management practices, proactively manages risk, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale and/or multiple concurrent projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
- Own project outcomes, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, resource allocation, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, estimates, milestones, and success metrics, and track performance against established baselines.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, recommending corrective actions as needed to maintain delivery commitments.
- Assemble, guide, and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
- Manage project financials, including budget forecasting, cost controls, and variance analysis, to maintain fiscal discipline.
- Prepare and present clear, concise project status updates, plans, and recommendations to leadership, sponsors, clients, and delivery teams.
- Partner closely with business sponsors and stakeholders to define requirements, resolve challenges, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards, methodologies, and governance practices.
- Mentor and support the development of other project managers, contributing to overall project management maturity and capability.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Demonstrated success managing complex, high-visibility projects with budgets exceeding $1M and teams of 10 or more, with at least five years of progressive project management experience.
- Strong command of formal project management principles and practices, including familiarity with PMI and PMBOK standards. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Experience leading projects in regulated environments, such as government-mandated initiatives or highly regulated industries including finance, healthcare, or similar domains, is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Advanced skills in project planning, risk management, change management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Track record of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with defined requirements, while effectively managing variances.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and executive audiences.
- Ability to identify complex problems, facilitate resolution, and drive decisions that balance scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Experience using project management software and tools to plan, track, and report on project performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Project Management certification is strongly preferred, with PMP certification considered a significant plus.
