General Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Our client is seeking a strategic, technically fluent business leader to guide a fast-growing aerospace manufacturing operation through its next phase of innovation and expansion. This role blends executive-level leadership with customer-facing growth strategy, requiring someone who can align engineering, finance, and commercial teams around new product and market opportunities. The ideal candidate is collaborative, externally minded, and motivated by building the future.
This role is onsite in Milwaukie, Oregon.
General Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing) Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through customer engagement, new product development, and market expansion within a highly regulated aerospace environment.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, finance, program management, and manufacturing to execute strategic priorities.
- Own full P&L responsibility while aligning investment, pricing, and cost strategies to support long-term growth.
- Partner with customers and industry stakeholders to identify next-generation technologies and application opportunities.
- Champion a collaborative, performance-driven culture that values accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
General Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing) Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the aerospace industry.
- Proven background in business development, technical sales, or commercial strategy supporting engineered products.
- Demonstrated success leading new product introductions and high-growth initiatives.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience managing P&L and enterprise-level ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree required, with an engineering discipline strongly preferred.
Salary: $225K-$240K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
