Senior Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead complex accounting operations within a dynamic, fast-scaling technology environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to drive structure and accuracy across a global, multi-entity organization.
This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located on the West Coast.
Senior Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee core accounting operations for a growing, international business with multiple subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide hands-on leadership across general ledger activities, close processes, and cross-functional accounting workflows.
- Partner with internal teams to strengthen controls, streamline processes, and support operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with tax and audit stakeholders to maintain compliance and prepare required documentation.
- Utilize ERP systems to enhance reporting capabilities and support system-driven improvements.
- Step into undefined or evolving processes with confidence, applying strong critical thinking and problem-solving to establish clarity and direction.
Senior Accounting Manager Qualifications
- Extensive experience in corporate accounting within the technology sector or another fast-growth, complex industry.
- Background managing accounting operations for international entities or multi-subsidiary organizations.
- Proficiency with modern ERP platforms; SAP S/4HANA experience is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of tax concepts, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in fluid environments, build structure where needed, and make sound decisions with limited oversight.
- Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and commitment to operational excellence.
Salary: $130K-$180K/year. (DOE)
