Surgical Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support surgical procedures and ensure the highest standards of patient care in the operating room. This role plays an essential part in maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting the surgical team to provide safe and efficient surgical experiences.

This role is onsite in Spokane, Washington.

Surgical Technician Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize the sterile field with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures.
  • Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating needs during operations while maintaining strict sterile technique.
  • Collaborate closely with registered nurses and surgical technologists to support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the operating room.
  • Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, care, and storage after each procedure.
  • Participate in case cart preparation, turnover team duties, or service line assignments as needed to support operational efficiency.
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols in compliance with facility standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to a team-focused, patient-centered environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and accountability.

Surgical Technician Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician training program.
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist registration (or eligibility to obtain upon hire).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile field maintenance, and instrument handling.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required for role-related needs.

Salary: $53K-$82K/year. (DOE)
