SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist
Working as part of a high functioning team, the SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing robust solutions in SQL Server for Legal Services projects.
Defines and develops solutions with minimal direction through collaboration with Solutions Architects and consultation with Project Managers.
Thinks strategically, with an equal focus on developing and communicating practical solutions that exceed client expectations.
Is detail oriented but flexible, ready to adapt to changing needs and priorities, cycling in and out of projects and embracing alternative paths to solutions.
Enjoys the challenge of solving complex (and potentially under-defined) problems as a member of a high-performance team.

This is a fully remote position.

SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist Responsibilities:
Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems.
Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets.
Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements.
Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project.
Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles

SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in leading the development of technical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred.
Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the business.
Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholders.
Comfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Must enjoy and have experience working in a fast paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting priorities.

Technical Skills:
10+ years’ experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases.
Advanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL code.
Proficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance.
Experience performing complex data analysis of very large datasets.

Salary: $60-$70/hr. (DOE)
