Senior Technical Accountant
Our innovative client seeks an experienced Senior Technical Accountant to join their organization! This is a stellar opportunity to work with a growing company that aims to make history in their sector.

Senior Technical Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze data to support SEC filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and management input for 10-Q and 10-K forms.
• Conduct complex data analyses, prepare journal entries, and provide operational insights using reporting tools (Excel, etc.).
• Review and document company contracts to assess GAAP implications and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting and reporting processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Additional ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and audit support. 

Senior Technical Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; advanced degree and CPA highly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience, including 3 years in SOX-compliant accounting or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, SEC filings (10K, 10Q), and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, Dynamics, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional collaboration. 
• Proven ability to analyze operational results and deliver accurate, detail-oriented work.

Salary: $100k-$120k (DOE)
