Senior QA Automation Engineer
The Senior QA Automation Engineer is tasked with developing mission critical print workflow software. This role will primarily focus on hands-on QA. To succeed in this position, you will need proven ability to organize workload, priorities, and complete tasks on time. You will work in a team environment and need to effectively communicate both within your team and to external teams. As a Senior member of the team, you will act as a resource for other software QA analysts, liaison between department manager and other analysts, as well as the business team. This position is for a full stack QA with a strong emphasis on back-end processes. This is a 50% green field/50% brown field development project. We are building scalable, extensible, high volume, high availability software workflows.
The individual will be responsible for owning and developing an automation roadmap for the applications supported by the Product Development Teams. They will work with internal Software QA Analysts to understand the QA process, review existing automation test suites, design and develop automation test suites. They will also be responsible for developing an overall automation strategy and coach existing QA teams on how to develop, maintain and support test automation. They will be an evangelist in promoting best practices for QA automation.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure that new and existing product functionality are reliable, defect free and function as intended.
Create, document, verify and execute component-level to user acceptance test plans and test cases.
Work closely with business partners and the application development team in eliciting project requirements to create test cases.
Use Agile Scrum SDLC methodologies and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
Participate in the development and reporting of test metrics; items such as test confidence and test coverage reports.
Review requirements specifications and identify gaps and inconsistencies.
Work closely with development engineers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects; verify problem fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner.
Provide leadership among other Quality Assurance Analyst positions, facilitating a lead role in providing direction and working directly with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Design, develop, and own automation architecture framework. Lead the implementation of test strategies and test execution.
Work closely with the team on prioritization, techniques, and methodology of overall QA automation practice.
Create and implement a Roadmap for automation strategy.
Provide weekly reports on the tasks completed and planned.
Should be comfortable writing automation scripts using both C# code as well as record and playback style automation.
Train the current QA team for ongoing automation needs maintenance and support.
Design, develop, and own automation architecture framework.

Required Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in Software Quality Automation and testing roles emphasizing both White Box, Black Box, and “Load/Performance” testing strategies.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an expert in automated testing, including automation frameworks such as Selenium.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in agile and software environment.
Strong technical competency in web-based applications, preferably .NET, Angular JS, C#, JSON, SQL, and distributed systems.
Experience in full software testing life cycle in UI, System, API, Integration, Regression, and Performance testing/tuning using Jmeter.
Pay Rate: $57.98-$65.22/hr (DOE)
