Senior Product Manager
As the Senior Manager of Product you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our marketplace. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with engineering and marketing to deliver solutions that align with our company’s strategic goals. This role requires a strong decision-maker who can navigate ambiguity, prioritize user-centric strategies, and influence stakeholders effectively.
This is a hybrid position in Portland, OR.
Senior Product Manager Responsibilities
Strategic Direction and Impact (40%)
Marketplace Leadership: Own the strategic direction of our unique three-sided travel marketplace, ensuring alignment with company vision and user needs.
Growth Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to enhance user interactions and satisfaction, focusing on scalable solutions that drive revenue.
Future of Group Travel: Lead initiatives to innovate and redefine group travel based on market insights and user feedback.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement (40%)
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and execution, guiding teams through complex problem-solving processes.
User Advocacy: Champion the voice of the user in product developments, ensuring alignment with user preferences and needs.
Strategic Communication: Clearly communicate strategies and updates across the organization to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
Problem-Solving (20%)
Innovative Solutions: Address complex challenges with innovative solutions that meet key business and user needs.
Product Evolution: Drive continuous improvement in product development processes, fostering innovation in product delivery.
Senior Product Manager Qualifications
Extensive experience in shipping consumer-facing software as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of impactful solutions.
Strong technical acumen, particularly in web applications and marketplace technologies.
Experience leading product strategy for marketplace platforms or similar complex systems.
Exceptional ability to craft and communicate a cohesive product strategy that aligns with company vision and user needs.
Strong design strategy skills with an emphasis on user-centered experience.
Experience working with research teams or leading user interview programs to inform product decisions.
Passion for engaging with users, gathering insights, and translating them into actionable product requirements.
Strong analytical skills to leverage data for trend identification and decision-making.
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary: $115k-$140k/year. (DOE)
