Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting
Our well-established, publicly traded manufacturing client seeks a full-time Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join their global accounting team. This is a highly visible and impactful role that involves collaboration with leadership to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Georgia (GA) or South Carolina (SC).
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting
- Leads consolidation procedures, including investigation and clearing of inter-company balances.
- Drive month and year end processes ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Prepare, analyze, consolidate, and publish financial statements.
- Research and resolve discrepancies and inter-company balances.
- Present analytical findings to leadership and support strategic decision making.
- Oversee accounting staff and provide mentorship as needed.
- Provide technical support to SEC Reporting and Internal Audit team.
- Suggest and support implementation of process improvements and internal controls.
- Some travel required.
Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including previous supervisory responsibility.
- International or public company experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements including 10-K and 10-Q reporting
- Proficient with ERP systems and/or consolidation software – Oracle and OneStream preferred.
- Tech-savvy with MS Office Suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
Salary: $120k-$145k + Bonus (DOE)
