Senior Elixir Developer
Our client is passionate about solving challenging problems in a collaborative environment, come join our growing team as we work to build and scale our product and prepare for a period of growth.

This position is 100% remote.

Senior Elixir Developer Responsibilities:
Provide strategic input and guidance on challenges that arise around scaling, managing complexity, and architecture decisions.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment, including pair programming and mentoring peers.
Build and maintain front-end functionality, RESTful API endpoints, and API integrations with external services.
Collaborate on internal infrastructure/tooling improvements.
Contribute to development and improvement of CI/CD and DevOps workflows (we currently use GitLab CI, Docker and DigitalOcean).
Write performant Ecto and SQL queries.
Refactor and review code.
Write tests and practice TDD.

Senior Elixir Developer Qualifications:
Proficiency and production experience with the Elixir language and Phoenix web framework
Proficiency with JavaScript and modern front-end development (Tech Stack used: Phoenix, LiveView, and React for our front-end).
Experience building and deploying commercial web applications at scale.
Strong communication and active-listening skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency with Mac OS and Linux command line.
Good sense of software design and functional programming.
Able to excel in both an autonomous and collaborative work environment.
You have a fun sense of humor and enjoy working in a relaxed environment.

Bonuses:
Experience with multi-tenant software architecture.
Experience with mobile development (our mobile app is built with React Native).
Experience in Linux system administration and DevOps (especially with tools we use like GitLab CI, Docker, and Digital Ocean).

Salary: $105,000k-$120,000k/yr. (DOE)
