Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Our client seeks a strategic and forward-thinking finance professional to join their executive team as their new Senior Director of FP&A. The ideal candidate has solid business acumen, confidence in their ability to serve as a reliable business partner, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
This role is on-site in Houston, Texas.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Houston, Texas and the surrounding area.
Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities
- Lead all FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis.
- Supervise and mentor FP&A team members ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance of work performed.
- Partner with leadership team to align financial strategies with business goals and drive strategic decision-making.
- Oversee financial reporting activities and ensure consistency/accuracy in presenting information to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements for financial systems and reporting activities.
Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. required; CPA a plus.
- At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including previous supervisory/leadership responsibility.
- Tech-savvy with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with solid understanding of financial concepts and modeling/planning strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a highly regulated environment.
- Prior ERP implementation support experience a plus.
Compensation: $205k – $240k (DOE) + Bonus
