Resource Scheduler
Our client is seeking a Resource Scheduler / Work Order Specialist to support daily vegetation management operations through detailed digital scheduling, customer coordination, and precise work order creation. This role is highly computer-based and requires exceptional attention to detail, strong research skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of data across multiple systems.
This role is a hybrid model in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Resource Scheduler Responsibilities
- Create, research, and process detailed work orders including permits, scope of work, sketches, screenshots, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate daily schedules for tree and vegetation crews using digital scheduling tools based on operational priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers to coordinate appointments, confirm access, and resolve scheduling-related questions.
- Gather and verify customer and contractor data from 7–15 internal and external systems to support 20–30 applications daily.
- Enter contractor and field data into internal work management platforms, including Maximo and GIS-based systems.
- Perform duplicate research for existing business and residential customers to ensure data accuracy and proper routing.
- Maintain consistent documentation and data integrity across multiple internal software tools.
- Support coordination between field crews, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of daily work.
- Respond to high volumes of inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.
- Remain computer-based throughout the workday with continuous system usage and documentation.
Resource Scheduler Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in scheduling, operations coordination, administrative support, utilities, construction, field services, or similar environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to research, compile, and validate technical and customer data.
- Experience working in work order, GIS, asset management, or enterprise scheduling systems is strongly preferred.
- High proficiency in computer-based work with the ability to remain on-screen for the full workday.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for frequent customer, vendor, and internal coordination.
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple internal software platforms quickly and accurately.
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced operational environment.
Compensation: Up to $24.40/hr. (DOE)
