Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care to patients in a Primary Care Clinic. This role is works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team and requires the ability to apply the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to all care provided.
This position is onsite in Hillsboro, OR.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Performs comprehensive health assessment of patients by completing a physical and psycho-social history. Identifies actual and potential health needs based on medical, mental/emotional, financial, and social factors.
Triages minor to emergent situations.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Performs nurse visits and administers medications and immunizations as ordered by an authorizing NHC provider or via approved standing order.
Assists patient to maintain maximum quality of life by coordinating services of community agencies and encouraging preventive practices.
May assist with phlebotomy, CLIA waived point of care testing, in clinic EKGs and other primary care procedures as necessary in times of staffing constraints.
Performs RN led patient visits for health maintenance, patient education, and treatment of acute issues based off protocols and provider orders.
Consults and coordinates with health center team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plan based on assessment.
Registered Nurse Qualifications
This position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with 2 years of nursing experience. A Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing is preferred.
This position requires completion from an accredited school of nursing.
1-3 years related experience and/or training preferred in the FQHC or primary care field.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Compensation: $36-$50.46/hr. (DOE)
