Job Id: 69663
Quality Manager – Build, Optimize, and Lead Excellence
We’re unifying two legacy businesses under one scalable QMS—and we need a process-driven leader who thrives in structure, understands industrial service environments, and knows how to drive results. In our highly regulated marine and power generation operations, you’ll enhance performance, reduce defects, and create a culture of continuous improvement. If you've built a QMS before and are ready to make a real impact, this is your moment.
What You’ll Own:
Architect & Oversee a Best-in-Class QMS: Develop and implement a Quality Management System that ensures compliance with ISO, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Lead & Elevate a High-Performance Team: Build a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the quality team.
Drive Process & Operational Excellence: Use Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce defects, enhance first-pass yield, and minimize rework and warranty claims.
Master Audit & Compliance Programs: Own internal and external audits, supplier quality management, and regulatory adherence.
Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain to align quality objectives with business and customer expectations.
Supplier Quality Optimization: Working with the supply chain leader, audit vendors, and implement corrective actions.
Who You Are:
A structured thinker who thrives on process optimization and system development.
A methodical leader who brings clarity to complexity and enjoys refining operations for peak efficiency.
A problem-solver who sees patterns, identifies root causes, and implements long-term solutions—not just quick fixes.
A strategic influencer who leverages data, logic, and expertise to drive company-wide improvements.
What You Bring to the Table:
10+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance (QA), or quality control (QC), with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Quality Management (advanced degree preferred).
Deep expertise in QMS frameworks, ISO compliance, and regulatory standards in industries like marine and power generation, aerospace, or automotive.
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, TQM, RCA, FMEA, and SPC methodologies.
Proven track record in reducing defect rates, driving supplier quality improvements, and leading successful audits.
Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and hands-on approach to quality enhancement.
Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Certifications:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) (ASQ)
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Benefits Include:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off and holidays
- Tuition reimbursement
- Wellness programs
- Company-paid life and disability insurance
- Annual performance bonus eligibility
Salary: $140,000.00 – $155,000.00, based on experience
