Project Manager
Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee complex civil construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance while ensuring teams uphold the organization’s values and deliver exceptional results.
This role onsite in Woodburn, Oregon.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring consistent use of PPE, enforcing safety practices, and leading regular site safety briefings.
- Develop pre-construction safety strategies in partnership with leadership prior to project kickoff.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship by ensuring quality controls, internal checks, and verification procedures are consistently applied.
- Uphold and model core company values to guide team behavior and project execution.
- Oversee contracts and subcontracts, including communications, document management, change tracking, payment workflows, and schedule oversight.
- Drive profitable and on-time delivery of assigned projects, monitoring progress closely against budget and timelines.
- Ensure daily reports and project documentation are complete, accurate, and properly maintained in the company’s project management systems.
- Address and resolve contract concerns or conflicts promptly with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects for public and private clients—including work in roads, highways, utilities, site development, airports, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple civil projects ranging from approximately $500K to over $25M in annual volume.
- Strong background in contract administration, change management, and dispute resolution.
- Proficiency with construction project management software such as HCSS Heavy Job/Heavy Bid, digital document control systems, and CPM scheduling tools (MS Project, SureTrak, P6, or comparable systems).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Salary: $145K-$155K/year. (DOE)
