Project Manager – Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA)
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the management and execution of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) for battery energy storage projects. This role requires a proven track record in project management, ideally within the power industry, and the ability to foster trust and confidence in delivering service products. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in project execution, customer collaboration, and operational excellence.
This role is fully remote.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of LTSA contracts for battery energy storage projects, managing all aspects from handover to operations through the end of the contract lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with finance, engineering, supply chain management (SCM), and field service teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and maintenance plans to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and to customer satisfaction.
- Monitor safety and quality guidelines throughout the service lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Serve as the primary interface with customers to address contract requirements, enhance communication, and plan outage needs.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify product issues, and drive corrective actions in partnership with engineering and field services.
- Proactively collaborate with suppliers, partners, sales teams, and senior management to achieve project objectives.
- Review budgets and provide accurate revenue and cash flow forecasts, proposing cost mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Oversee inventory management programs and coordinate with SCM to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts.
- Plan and implement augmentation projects to address degradation, incorporating new technologies as required.
- Develop and issue project documentation, including technical reports, outage summaries, and customer performance reviews.
- Travel to customer plant sites to facilitate planning, meet outage requirements, and address contract issues.
- Streamline the warranty claims process, ensuring adherence to SLAs and delivering a seamless customer experience.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; or at least 5 years of relevant experience in project management or field service/operations.
- Certification in Project Management (PMI or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the power industry, with experience in battery energy storage systems preferred.
- Proven expertise in field service, project execution, and LTSA management, with a background in supply chain and manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with employees, customers, and field service personnel at all levels.
- Ability to read and analyze technical documents, contracts, and governmental regulations, with strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, databases, spreadsheets, and technical diagram software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical instructions.
- Multilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
Compensation: $60-$75/hr. (DOE)
