PLS-CADD Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled PLS-CADD Technician to support transmission line design efforts and ensure the accuracy of project deliverables. This role involves developing detailed models, integrating survey data, and collaborating closely with engineering and drafting teams.

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon.

PLS-CADD Technician Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and maintain PLS-CADD models for transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 550kV.
• Incorporate LiDAR and other remotely sensed terrain data into design models with a high degree of precision.
• Support the production of as-built survey models for lattice, framed, and guyed structures.
• Partner with cross-functional project teams to ensure drafting outputs meet project requirements and schedule expectations.

PLS-CADD Technician Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with transmission line modeling using PLS-CADD or handling as-built engineering data within a GIS-based environment.
• Direct experience with PLS-CADD; exposure to PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, or related PLS software is preferred.
• Solid understanding of transmission and distribution utility concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

Compensation: $28/hr.
