Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Our client is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care within an inpatient setting. This role focuses on assessing patient needs, developing targeted treatment plans, and guiding individuals toward improved mobility and independence. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, a patient-centered mindset, and the ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse physical and age-related needs.
This role is fully onsite in Medford, Oregon.
Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, functional limitations, and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize functional outcomes.
- Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support coordinated patient care.
- Offer education and guidance to patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and continued care plans.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in consultations or specialized therapeutic services as departmental needs arise.
Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist License prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to adapt care for patients with varying diagnoses, conditions, and rehabilitation goals.
- Willingness to support specialized therapy needs or training requirements based on department priorities.
- Successful completion of background clearance if required for designated units.
Salary: $91K-$142K/year. (DOE)
