Payroll Specialist (Hybrid)
Our international manufacturing client seeks a dedicated and customer service-focused Payroll Specialist to join their team! This role will involve 50% payroll duties and 50% AP/AR duties and would be an ideal fit for someone who is team-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule requiring 2 days a week onsite in East Portland (20 minutes East of PDX), following the 90-day introductory period (fully onsite).

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Process and verify semi-monthly payroll, including data entry, auditing, and reconciliations in ADP.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll changes, including terminations, garnishments, and benefits, while coordinating with HR and addressing discrepancies.
• Reconcile general ledger for payroll-related deposits, tax withholdings, and deductions; approve 401k deferrals and troubleshoot errors.
• Manage high-volume invoice processing, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records for multiple branches and companies.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including setting up customer records, posting payments, and entering invoice information into customer portals.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-state payroll and payable/receivables experience within a mid to large sized organization.
• Customer service focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be proficient with ADP and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to effectively multi-task.
• Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation: $21-$26.50/hr. (DOE)
