Payroll & HR Specialist (HYBRID)
Our client seeks a highly organized and people-focused HR professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for both process and people. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing the precision of payroll processing with the empathy required for positive employee relations. This role is ideal for someone who values confidentiality, is self-motivated, and enjoys being a trusted resource across HR functions.

The role is anticipating a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week on-site following the 6-month introductory period.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Sherwood, Oregon and the surrounding area.

Payroll & HR Specialist Responsibilities

• Accurately process and audit payroll using ADP, ensuring compliance with all wage and hour laws.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, from job posting to interview coordination.
• Support onboarding processes and maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
• Administer employee training tracking, attendance follow-ups, and employment verifications.
• Respond to employee inquiries, support HR initiatives, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Payroll & HR Specialist Qualifications

• At least 2 years of payroll experience.
• Understanding of payroll compliance; exposure to HR functions a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly; exposure to ADP WFN or similar preferred.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or payroll/HR certification(s) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English highly desired.

Compensation: $27-$30/hr. (DOE)
