Merchandising Associate
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Associate to support a fast-paced men’s sportswear merchandising function aligned to footwear. This role partners closely with merchandising, planning, and cross-functional teams to support seasonal assortments, manage product samples, and maintain core merchandising tools. The ideal candidate brings a strong retail foundation, a consumer-first mindset, and hands-on experience supporting merchandise strategies in a dynamic environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Merchandising Associate Responsibilities

• Support merchandise planning activities, including managing line plans, seasonal assortments, and product storytelling across key merchandising tools.
• Coordinate and manage product samples, ensuring accurate tracking, organization, and timely delivery across internal partners.
• Maintain and update seasonal tools and presentations using platforms such as Excel, Keynote, and internal assortment or visualization tools.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, planning, design, marketing, and geography-based teams to support product execution.
• Assist with research, analysis, and data updates that inform assortment decisions and product opportunities.
• Support multiple merchants and planners simultaneously while managing shifting priorities and deadlines.

Merchandising Associate Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or merchandise planning.
• Strong retail background with customer-facing experience at a manager level or above.
• Proven experience managing merchandise line plans and building seasonal assortments.
• Ability to work effectively in highly cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency with Excel and presentation tools such as Keynote.
• Experience in footwear or apparel merchandising is preferred but not required.
• Exposure to product coordination or product line management (PLM) tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Curious, coachable mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving retail environment.

Compensation: Up to $32.67/hr. (DOE)
