IT Operations Manager
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring usability, availability, and security of IT services, including data center operations, networking, cloud services, and end user computing. The IT Operations Manager will apply proven communication skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills to provide a high-quality user experience and continually improve operational performance and customer service.

Overall objectives:
Manage IT Services to ensure high-quality user experience.
Execute IT Operations to ensure reliable, available, and scalable IT services.
Manage and monitor IT Security and Compliance.

This is an onsite position.

IT Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Manage IT Services
Work with management to identify desired IT services, support levels, and responsibilities.
Coordinate with internal and external providers to manage service delivery and service-level agreements.
Identify, design, and document IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to ensure consistent, reliable service.
Supervise Service Desk staff and coordinate with external Managed Service Provider.
Manage incident resolution through the Service Desk with a focus on continuous improvement.
Perform root cause analysis for incidents and problems and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Provide Tier 3 technical support regarding information systems deployment and operations.
Organize and support after-hours and on-call duties as required.
Report regular KPI metrics to Management for end user satisfaction, service availability, and security.

Execute IT Operations:
Lead the daily operations of CGI Infrastructure: Network and Data Centers, Cloud services, End User Computing Applications and Support Systems.
Partner with external service providers to design and implement IT infrastructure improvements that can scale to support projected business growth.
Create, maintain, and enforce standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
Coordinate tracking and lifecycle management of IT hardware/software assets.
Administer and ensure the overall health of IT hardware and software systems.
Document all routine tasks, incidents, change management scheduling and tracking, and database policies & standards.
Develop and maintain company-wide backup and disaster recovery plans.
Manage relationships with vendors and their support teams.
Develop, publish, and maintain documentation of the IT environment.
Track budget and manage spending for IT Operations.
Other duties assigned.
Manage and monitor IT Security and Compliance
Create and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
Execute Access Control and Identity Management policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure Company computing assets and data are protected from unauthorized use.
Ensure compliance with all Marubeni Corporate (M-IGS) and CGI Corporate IT Governance policies.
Coordinate security awareness and IT systems training for staff and/or team members.

IT Operations Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Associates degree and/or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
Minimum five years IT operations experience.
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) theory, practice, and toolsets.
Practical experience with IT project management.
Working knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols and technologies.
Working knowledge of Data Center, UPS, Storage, Network, and Virtualization administration.
Experience in the Microsoft OS and Application Suites: Windows Server, Office 365, SharePoint, SQL Server.
Familiar with Windows Active Directory and Windows Server Systems.
Experience and interest in migrating services to cloud computing platforms.
Strong experience in vendor management ability to form strong partnerships.
Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
Analytical skills to identify, monitor, report, and act on key service and performance metrics.
Unwavering desire to provide the best customer service to CGI users.
Maintain professionalism, good attitude, and appropriate behavior with CGI employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
Be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines.
Demonstrate ability as a team player and a willingness to lend a hand with any project.

Salary: $115,000-$145,000/yr. (DOE)
