Human Resources Director (Acute Care)
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for fostering growth and developing talent? Our local, McMinnville client is looking for a Human Resources Director who thrives in a dynamic acute care environment, bringing strong communication and analytical skills to drive impactful people initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative partner, guiding leadership while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across recruitment, compensation, and employee relations.

Human Resources Director (Acute Care) Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement organization-wide People Services functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital requirements (Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.).
  • Manage departmental resources and continuously assess and improve performance.
  • Oversee the professional development needs of management and staff, fostering leadership growth.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to the Facility CEO and leadership team on all People Services initiatives.

Human Resources Director (Acute Care) Qualifications

  • Must have prior acute care health experience at the Director level. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required; advanced degree or PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development, and Compensation Management.
  • Working knowledge of federal/state employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Healthcare industry, union employee, and/or prior supervisory are highly preferred. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior management and relate to all employee levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop and monitor budgets, as well as analyze compensation and benefits data.

Compensation: $110k–$145k (DOE)
