Footwear Product Engineer – CNC
Our client is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Footwear Product Engineer – CNC to join their innovative product engineering team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career (around 3 years of experience) who is eager to build technical expertise in footwear manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be curious, adaptable, and excited to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting prototype and production tooling.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.

Footwear Product Engineer – CNC Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines to support the production of molds and components.
• Assist with secondary operations such as bead blasting, polishing, and washing.
• Support engineering and prototyping teams on a variety of footwear development projects.
• Participate in daily team activities and communicate project updates clearly and professionally.
• Follow manufacturing procedures and guidelines to ensure quality standards.
• Take initiative in learning new techniques and approaches from senior team members.
• Contribute to process improvements through curiosity, collaboration, and a proactive mindset.

Footwear Product Engineer – CNC Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of experience in a machining, product engineering, or hands-on manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with CNC machines or related equipment; direct programming experience is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow structured processes.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated interest in physical product creation and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a supportive team environment.

Compensation: Up to $30/hr. (DOE)
