Financial Planning & Budgeting Manager (Hybrid)
Our client seeks an experienced Financial Planning & Budgeting Manager to support strategic financial planning and day to day financial operations for their organization. In this role you will oversee a team of Financial Analysts, lead financial planning and reporting activities, and support the senior management team with making informed decisions. The ideal candidate has the proven ability to provide effective leadership, and an analytical mindset.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.

Financial Planning & Budgeting Manager Responsibilities

  • Supervise Senior Financial Analysts and manage day-to-day operations of financial planning and budgeting.
  • Oversee budget creation, month-end financial reviews, funds flow reconciliation, and monthly reporting to senior management.
  • Manage position control and compensation processes, including reviewing proformas, coordinating with the finance department, and administering payroll compliance.
  • Lead staff development, performance management, and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and team productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, support senior management with financial inquiries, and address areas of risk in financial planning.

Financial Planning & Budgeting Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s or CPA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency with reporting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coaching, client relationship building, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Healthcare or related industry experience preferred.

Salary: $40-$45.50/hr. (DOE)
