Financial Analyst II – Labor / Expenses (HYBRID)

Our client seeks a Financial / Expenses Analyst who can blend sharp analytical thinking with strong interpersonal skills to support financial planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate is confident working with data, communicates clearly with stakeholders, and thrives in dynamic, evolving teams where efficiency, accuracy, and business alignment are key.

This is a hybrid role based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding area.

Financial Analyst II Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to partner for VPs on labor planning.
  • Analyze labor and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor and forecast labor costs, including overtime, staffing levels, and contractor usage.
  • Prepare detailed expense reports and dashboards for management review and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operations team to align labor planning with business volume and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support budget planning and variance analysis by providing accurate labor and expense data.
  • Use financial and workforce management systems to track and analyze trends in labor and expenses.

Financial Analyst II Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in headcount management/forecasting and workforce planning/budgeting required.
  • Strong FP&A background with a primary focus on headcount analysis and executive-facing consultation.
  • Experienced with taking ownership of operations budgets with minimal oversight/managerial support required.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills; comfortable building and managing labor and budget models independently.
  • Familiarity with EPM systems (Planful, TM1, etc.) and Dynamics for GL work.

Compensation: $85k–$100k (DOE)
