Estimator
As an Estimator on our Pre-Construction team, you are responsible for supporting the entire construction bid process from the RFP through the start of project. Job responsibilities include construction feasibility, product evaluation, estimating, cost control, permitting, document control and communication to the Design Build, Architecture and Construction teams.

Main Role & Responsibilities:
Estimate multiple projects and maintain deadlines for bids/proposals.
Partner directly with engineers and architects to develop plans, manage schedules, determine project and material costs.
Manage business development and bid process.
Ensure compliance and gather permits per various projects.
Communicate with subcontractors and manage the changes in bids.
Assist with distributing resources, creating benchmarks and maintaining budgets.
On site visits with clients and to ensure projects are running smoothly.

Success in this Role:
Self-starter, detail oriented, professional with excellent communication skills.
Conduct business with clients of all levels using proper etiquette.
Understanding of BIM/VR technology.
A desire to gain an understanding of the Design and Build industry.
Ability to learn quickly and understand computer software programs.
Creative problem solving and prioritization skills.
Ability to run multiple projects at once.

Qualifications:
Ideally, 4+ years as an Estimator.
At least 1+ year(s) of commercial experience.
Either degree in construction or related fields desired.
Experience working in Vista/Viewpoint Project Management & Accounting Software preferred.
An understanding and experience with business development is preferred.
Project Management experience is a plus.
