Director of Process Engineering
Our client in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a strong leader and sharp technical mind to join their team as Director of Process Engineering. The Director of Process Engineering will oversee all sections of process in the fab including Lithography, Etch, Thin Film, Diffusion, CMP and EPI. The department has 50+ engineers and technicians. Area managers will report to Director of Process Engineering.
You will co-work with other functional teams like manufacturing, equipment, process integration, quality control/assurance, facility and procurement to achieve fab delivery, cost-saving, efficiency improvement goals.
This is an onsite position.
Director of Process Engineering Responsibilities
Lead team to set up robust process through Process Release Standards (PRS).
Lead team to establish/optimize effective and strong monitoring/defense system to ensure daily high-quality inline process.
Lead team to maintain and review inline SPC to ensure CP/CPK to reach target.
Keep improving WPH/rework-rate/hold rate KPI.
Meet Inline defects reduction by co-working with KLA/integration/equipment, wafer scrap due to process KPI.
Lead team on inline excursion module level actions.
Be the PCCB (Process Change Control Board) member to review/approve request.
Work with R&D team on new module process development.
Director of Process Engineering Qualifications
Minimum Master's Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related majors.
Minimum 15 years of semiconductor module process experience required.
Two or more specific areas experience is preferred.
R&D experiences experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of one or more of the specific process module(s) you will be overseeing (e.g., expertise in photolithography or etch processes).
Strong leadership in stability of processes and procedures in massive production environments.
Demonstrated leadership in module Process and equipment experience, strong ownership and passion for success.
Demonstrated ability to work with people one on one and in a team environment.
Demonstrated problem solving initiative in work area. Experience in leading and managing process development projects.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing trends and advancements.
Salary: $95K–$110K/yr (DOE)
