Director of Finance and Operations
Our client with deep roots to Portland’s history is looking for an analytical full-time Director of Finance and Operations to join their dynamic team. This position is a key member of the leadership team and collaborates with many departments while overseeing all financial and administrative functions of the organization.
This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule and requires qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices in Portland, Oregon.
Director of Finance and Operations Responsibilities
- Supervise accounting members and provides guidance to administrative and IT teams.
- Manage cash flow, revenue and expenses, investments, and budgeting and forecasting needs.
- Manage payroll, accounting transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close.
- Maintain financial reports and analyze findings and present to executive team to drive business decisions.
- Ensure audits and tax filings are completed timely and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Lead special projects and technology/system improvements.
Director of Finance and Operations Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of related experience in accounting, finance, and HR.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Familiarity with non-profits required.
- Proficient with QuickBooks, Excel, and reporting programs.
Salary: $80k-$90k (DOE)
