Controller (HYBRID)
Our client seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, capable of balancing day-to-day operational execution with strategic financial oversight. Adaptability, tech-savviness, and the ability to drive continuous improvement are key to success in this evolving role.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days a week on-site after a 60-90 day introductory period.

Controller Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle month-end close and preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Lead and support an accounting system transition, building new reporting tools and processes.
• Manage and mentor team members in accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Monitor AP, tax filings, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to identify risks and drive process improvements.

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience in a Controller or equivalent role.
• Proven success in a multi-entity setting, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Tech-savvy with advanced Excel skills and the ability to effectively lead a system transition/implementation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset.

Salary: $120k-$140k (DOE) + Bonus
