Controller
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Controller to join their team! This role will work closely with leadership to guide strategic financial decision-making, lead forecasting and budgeting processes, and ensure operational excellence across the business. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships, driving business performance, and leading a team with a focus on collaboration and growth.

This role is on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the surrounding area.

Controller Responsibilities

• Lead and support company-wide financial initiatives, including strategy development, forecasting, and capital budgeting.
• Develop and manage key performance metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to track and enhance business performance.
• Provide strategic financial insights, market positioning, and decision support to senior leadership.
• Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of results.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Serve as point of contact for external audit requests.

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• At least 8 years of FP&A experience, ideally within multi-location organizations.
• Strong knowledge of job costing/WIP/percentage of completion accounting; project management experience a plus.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
• Collaborative with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deadline-driven with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation: $130k–$150k + Bonus (DOE)
