Controller
Our market-leading client seeks an experienced Controller to join their team! The ideal candidate takes pride in managing the accounting and finance functions for a multi-entity organization and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Tualatin, Oregon.

Controller Responsibilities   

  • Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes.
  • Review GL transactions and prepare account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain financial statements ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Support leadership team in making strategic forecasting/budgeting decisions and mitigating risk.
  • Prepare annual audit packages and multi-state tax filings.
  • Ad-hoc financial and inventory analysis/reporting.
  • Travel to other branch locations required.

Controller Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including 2 years of recent leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting/inventory functions for a multi-entity organization.
  • Manufacturing, construction, contracting, distribution, or related industry experience highly preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with ERP systems, QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary: $110k-$125k (DOE)
