Controller
Our near century-old client is looking for a creative, team-oriented Controller to manage their accounting team full-time. This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule and requires qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices in Santa Clarita, California.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Oversee, lead, and mentor team members in accounting and financial planning functions.
• Review and reconcile transactions as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with management on forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages.
• Analyze risks and inform management as necessary.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA a plus.
• 7 years of related experience including 5 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and project accounting with a manufacturing background.
• Proficient with ERPs (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills; Power BI a plus.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $200k–$250k + Bonus (DOE)
