Controller
We're working with a local, family-owned company that is experiencing tremendous growth and success. They are seeking a committed and personable full-time accounting professional to lead their team and support their organization in improving processes and procedures. This Controller role offers competitive compensation, bonuses and benefits, and an excellent opportunity to join an accounting team full of down-to-earth good people.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule and requires qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices in Vancouver, Washington.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Oversee the accounting team ensuring timely and accurate month-end close.
• Review job costing and variance analysis reports; present findings to leadership.
• Identify and implement effective processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support financial analysis and reporting functions.
• Serve as point person for tax and audit preparations.
• Ad-hoc reporting and team development/mentorship.

Qualifications of the Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; CPA a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with general job costing and WIP knowledge.
• Tech-savvy with ERPs and dashboards (MS Power Apps or similar); able to learn new systems quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and LOOKUPs required. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Salary: $110k-$140k + Bonus (DOE)
