Controller
Our local Portland client is seeking an innovative full-time Controller with a strong passion for leadership to oversee their accounting team! This is a great opportunity to play a key role in team development and process & system improvements, with a clear growth path within the company.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule and requires qualified candidates to commute weekly to offices in Tualatin, Oregon.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Oversee, mentor, and develop accounting team.
• Lead financial planning and forecasting activities.
• Manage inventory and month/year end processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements/efficiencies.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Drive audit and tax filing activities.

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
• 5 years of experience as a Controller; distribution or similar industry experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and inventory.
• Proficient with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Able to learn new systems quickly; previous ERP implementation experience a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Salary: $130k–$150k + Bonus (DOE)
