Controller
Our Portland area client is looking for a detailed, hands-on Controller to join their team full-time. Controller Responsibilities

• Supervise and support accounting team functions.
• Perform bookkeeping, job costing, and strategic financial planning activities.
• Review WIP schedules and prepare ad-hoc reports; communicate finding to leadership.
• Prepare month/year-end documents including tax and audit filings.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and internal controls.

Controller Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience including 2+ years of team leadership responsibility.
• Recent construction industry experience required.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping functions, revenue recognition, and percentage of completion.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills required; exposure to Sage 300 preferred.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Salary: $120k-$150k + Bonus (DOE)
