Our client is seeking a fast-moving, detail-driven Color Designer who thrives in a high-volume apparel environment and brings a sharp eye for market-relevant color execution. This individual blends creative instinct with operational discipline, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver polished, consumer-focused color solutions under tight timelines. The ideal candidate is confident working at scale, adaptable to ambiguity, and energized by pace, precision, and impact.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Color Designer – Apparel Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end color design for apparel, owning accuracy and consistency through final product delivery.
- Develop seasonal, category-specific color stories that align with consumer insights, market trends, and brand direction.
- Partner closely with design, development, merchandising, and materials teams to deliver viable, market-ready color solutions.
- Review and approve samples, clearly communicating updates and refinements through final confirmation.
- Manage color calendars, timelines, and design systems to ensure on-time execution across multiple styles and seasons.
Color Designer – Apparel Qualifications

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft tools; ability to work efficiently within digital design systems.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes as they relate to color.
