Change Management Consultant
Our client is looking for a Change Management Consultant to join their team. This is a hybrid position in Portland, OR.
Change Management Consultant Responsibilities
Align key stakeholders around change management tactics and approaches.
Provide consulting services to define strategic and operational business transformation initiatives.
Work with leaders in multiple business units to provide effective leadership for the initiatives under analysis and definition.
Understand and analyze various drivers impacting key metrics and outcomes and provide a fact-based recommendation to the stakeholders.
Facilitate team meetings and cross-functional workshops.
Conduct analyses needed to prove or disprove hypotheses driving business transformation.
Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement
Define initiatives (projects/programs) to realize the business transformation.
May work on multiple initiatives.
May lead teams of internal and external resources.
Required Skills
Strong implementation management, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Solid understanding of Adult Learning Theory.
Experience with instructional design and Learning Management Systems (LMS); gamification.
Strong core consulting skills with a demonstrated track record of quality delivery.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly with executive, leaders, and stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience developing and delivering executive level presentations.
Exceptional facilitation skills including ability to lead large groups, reconcile multiple viewpoints, and manage stakeholder resistance.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, navigate ambiguous situations, and handle multiple, competing priorities.
Ability to drive results independently, but thrives in collaborative environments.
Utility industry experience preferred.
Preferred
Significant prior consulting experience with large, national firms preferred.
8+ years of experience delivering against large, complex programs and projects in a consulting environment.
Master's degree in business, technology or related field preferred.
Prosci or similar change management certification.
Compensation: $40-$65/hr. (DOE)
