Business Development Manager – Americas
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is remote but requires client visits in Texas. Must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities include:
Reporting: Based remotely you will be reporting to the Regional Sales Director.
Identifying new business opportunities, including new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services.
Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
Study potential opportunities with new leads/clients.
Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
RFQ/Quotation, Sampling, and Inspection follow-up internally and customer.
Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry, and positioning.
Utilize the internal CRM to improve market intelligence and understanding.
Work closely with the sales Director to deliver the business plan.
Qualifications
The ability to sell ideas, products, and services.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements.
Good IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Office, TEAM meetings & Calls.
A solid understanding of business and marketing principles.
Depending on the business needs ready to travel domestically or internationally.
Key Requirements
Engineering Degree
Minimum 10 years of sales experience (B2B is the added advantage).
Experience in a demanding business development.
Ability to develop strong working relationships.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with key stakeholders.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Full United States driving license.
Knowledge of Fluoropolymers, Elastomers, or Investment Casting would be an added advantage.
Candidate Location: Texas is our first preference but is okay with any other locations too.
Salary: $110,000k-$120,000k/yr. (DOE)
