B2B Sales Director (HYBRID)
Our client seeks a B2B Sales Director with solid experience growing a sales department, who can guide the team in structuring and improving their sales processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with exceptional communication and analytical skills, who is ready to inspire and mentor a sales team to success. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite.
Sales Director Responsibilities
- Develop sales team and mentor team members to support the organization’s growth.
- Oversee sales performance and develop/improve processes to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop impactful long-term sales goals/strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
- Track and analyze KPIs, prepare sales forecasts, and perform ad-hoc reporting.
- 50% travel required.
Sales Director Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant leadership experience in B2B Sales, preferably within the beverage distribution industry (will also consider retail, grocery, consumer goods, etc.).
- Must have 2+ years of inside and outside sales team management experience, and proven ability to develop a sales team to support business growth.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce or closely related system(s) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a team, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong business partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically for work.
Compensation: $155k+ (DOE)
